A Brief History of PepsiCo

The company had its humble beginnings with a carbonated drink that was made by a pharmacist Caleb D Bradham in North Carolina in 1890s. The company was trademarked in 1900s and became popular under the Pepsi–Cola. However after 20 years of success Mr Bradham sold the company after it went bankrupt. And it wasn’t until 1930s that it became profitable again because of the Loft Inc. efforts. At this point the Pepsi-Cola company expanded with the Diet Pepsi and also went on to purchase Mountain Dew in the 1960s.
