Roadcast launched a new platform, Reach To Teach (2). This launch is an attempt to sensitize people about the power of real-time tracking and monitoring. The campaign will reach out to underprivileged youth who aspire to learn new skills. It is a simple web-based platform, which shares the skill sets every child wants to know for the relevant peers to connect and fast track the process.
Founded in 2015, the Delhi-based tech startup specializes in location-based tracking technology. In 2018, GITEX Future Stars awarded Roadcast as one of the top 30 tech-based startups globally.
In the angel round of funding, the startup raised approximately 260,000 USD and grown steadily at CAGR. Some recent notable names in their market share include Udaan, Delhi Police, Toyota, Let’s Transport, Adobe, TATA Hitachi, etc.
In this launch phase, Roadcast plans to reach out to significant metro and tier 1 cities and successfully connect the young adults. And to possibly improve their livelihood opportunities and increase employability. It will also give them a chance to outgrow their weak economic conditions.
The Co-founders of Roadcast on the New Launch
The Co-founder, Vishal Jain, said India’s 12 million underage and underprivileged workers are vital to our economy’s future. Roadcast aims to get at least 5000 kids registered monthly. It will be leading to a total annual impact of 300 Million INR, he added.
Rahul Mehra, the Co-founder, added that they had created this new platform to promote skill development and education. It will be essential to India’s growth story. The pandemic has disrupted the economic landscape of the nation. And to revive the economy and businesses to sustain the industry, leaders must rethink their products, service, and growth strategies.Further, he said, Roadcast believe capitalizing on India’s working-age population will create robust structural change in the current learning ecosystem.
