On Friday, the Day 2 Kubernetes firm, Nirmata (1), stated that it had secured undisclosed funding as an investment from Arka Venture Labs. The startup will use the latest capital to stimulate its regional expansion of APAC, sales, support, market, engineering.
According to a statement of the Managing Partner at Arka Venture Labs, Radhesh Kanumury, the firm liked the robust credential of the founders of Nirmata. They have the skills to provide a complete solution for the Day 2 Kubernetes of several Fortune 500 companies with their patented platform.
Damien Toledo, Jim Bugwadia, and Ritesh Patel founded the San Francisco-based startup in 2013. They offer unified management for clusters of Kubernetes, which has workloads built for DevOps teams. Nirmata has self-service cluster provisions along with visibility and application deployments.
Nirmata in Position to Solve Management Complexities for the Application of Cloud-native
Jim Bugwadia, the Founder and CEO of Nirmata, stated that he and other co-founders began Nirmata to make cloud-native technologies accessible to everyone. Since the developers across the world adopt Kubernetes, the platform is in an excellent position to solves the management complexities when it comes to cloud-native application. The platform can work as a cloud provider that doesn’t require any lock-in and unnecessary abstractions.
Nirmata also proclaimed its collaboration with the new product offering of Amazon. The EKS Manager of Nirmata that removes the Day 2 challenges of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service users. It is available in the marketplace of AWS.
Arka Venture Labs is an accelerator fund of India-US cross-border. Three VC firms, Blume Ventures, Emergent Ventures, and Benhamou Global, launched the Anchor LPs platform. They provide fundings to B2B startups with prominent growth in the US and are backed by robust core technology and economic differentiators.
Apart from offering capitals, the firm also works closely with the companies in its portfolio. It provides them mentorship, opportunities for networking, connections to valley ecosystems, and infrastructure. The firm was launched two years ago, and so far, it has invested in nine companies.
