Introduction:
Inside Edge is one of the most popular sports-drama web television series created by Karan Anshuman. This web series is available on Amazon Prime Video. The latest season, i.e., Inside Edge Season 3, is about to be released in the near future.
Inside Edge first premiered on July 10th, 2017. After a while, it became prevalent. This was one of the first Hindi series distributed by Amazon Originals. This show revolves around Mumbai Mavericks, a fictional T20 cricket team whose owners also operate a spot-fixing network or syndicate.
Many people started watching this show because of the main character’s aggressive nature and his popularity. Inside Edge received a positive review and nominated for “Best Drama Series” at the 46th International Emmy Awards.
The second season of this super-hit show released on December 6th, 2019.
The cast of Inside Edge Season 3:
As mentioned above, this show’s cast is one of the main reasons for its rising popularity. Before getting into the plot of Inside Edge season three, let’s learn a bit about the cast. Most of the actors will continue their roles from the first and second seasons. Vivek Oberoi(1) plays the role of Vikrant Dhawan, the star of Mumbai Mavericks. Vikrant Dhawan also owns the sports management committee. Richa Chadha plays the role of Zarina Malik. She is the owner of Mumbai Mavericks.
Aamir Bashir, who plays as Yashvardhan Patil, is the president of the Indian Cricket Board. Sayani Gupta portrays the role of the chief analyst of Mumbai Mavericks. His character’s name is Rohini Raghavan.
Sapna Pabbi and Angad Bedi also have taken minor roles in the shown.
The Plot:

As written above, Inside Edge is based on Indian Sports. The highlight of this show is the T20 cricket team named the ‘Mumbai Mavericks.’ In the previous season, the final episode shows that Mumbai Mavericks gets banned or restricted for two decades from any matches due to its involvement in regular match-fixing. The show ends right here, keeping all the audience in sheer suspense. Hence, the story of Inside Edge Season 3 might pick up from here. We might witness what happens to the Power Play League after the ban of Mumbai Mavericks.
Expectations:
Inside Edge portrays the ups and downs of managing a cricket team and how the owners are susceptible to fix matches to get their hands on the money—the third season expected to be as good as the first two seasons. It might show how the Mumbai Mavericks cope up with their ban and try to come back.
Release date of Inside Edge Season 3:
As per the official Inside Edge team, the release date is not announced yet. But, it is guaranteed that the show will be released on Amazon Prime Video. As per the fan community, Inside Edge Season 3 might be released somewhere around December 2020.
