Gaurav Taneja is a famous fitness freak and youtuber in India. Currently, he runs two youtube channels Flying Beast and Fit Muscle TV. He completed his degree from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2008. He is a pilot by profession now.

Gaurav Taneja- Controversy in AirAsia
On June 14 of this year he tweeted that he was suspended from AirAsia. And the next day, he posted a detailed video on his channel, Flying Beast, titled "Reasons behind suspension from my pilot job".
There he explained that all AirAsia pilots are required to do their 98% of their landing in "Flap 3" mode that allows them to save fuel. And if not done so it is considered a violation of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
He explains in this video how landing in Flap 3 mode disregards the safety of the passengers. He explains better giving the example of Imphal Airport, where the plane lands more steeply than other airports. He says when an aircraft is coming down steeply, it needs to have a drag so that it remains slow, and in these circumstances a pilot has to do a "Flap full" landing.
But in order to full-fill the SOP requirement, the pilot often disregards the safety of the passengers and do the Flap 3 landing. He was considered as a whistle-blower but people considered him as brave.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation said on Twitter,"DGCA has taken note of the concerns raised by some stakeholders against a particular airline and its approach to safety. DGCA has already started an investigation into the issues flagged and shall take appropriate action based on the outcome of the said investigation".

- In this channel he shares fitness tips and guidance for people who like body-building and gym.

Rashbhari ke Papa
- He started this channel on 8th July of this year named after his daughter aka Kaira.
- Before creating this channel he had requested his subscribers to subscribe this channel as soon as it goes out to reach 100k in the shortest time. And holla!! it worked.
- In just 40 mins his channel reached 1,00,000 subscribers creating a World Record.
- And by July 13 he reached his 1 Million subscribers. Again breaking the world to reach the golden milestone in just about 4 days.
- It is also claimed that this channel got about 100 fakes just within 24 hours of it's creation.
- The record says that they could have gone there in just 1 day but there was some YouTube glitch. Because of which subscribers where automatically unsubscribed.
