It received support from many from the nation as well as from people and companies all over the world. Not only did people invest but large corporations too invested. This helped to increase the total investment and startup culture in India.

Many Indian celebrities took this opportunity to invest. To  boost the economy for startups. By this, not only the "Heroes" of Bollywood but also the Heroines are becoming multi-million investors. By this they actually get involved knee-deep. Thereby, lending an incredible boost to the nation as well as the company involved.

Some celebrities are not funding the startups from the front end. But are getting involved with startups. The celebrities get involved by becoming their parent company. HiPi is an Indian alcohol delivery mobile App. The  app received an investment from Diageo, the alcohol giant.

In 2013 she once again made news by announcing her entry to a male dominated business sector.

The actress announced her company, Group-co Developers with Hem Tejuja. A first generation entrepreneur and her friend. The company’s aim is to develop housing projects. By collaborating with land owners across the whole country.

Her say on the project was that, deep down she was a middle class person from Chembur. So, that was the reason she wanted this project to help people build houses. She wanted to give people houses that would bring them happiness.

This famous actress got into the startup zone in 2014. When she backed an entrepreneur named Vishal Gondal. The duo then launched a company of wearable electronics GOQii( pronounced Go-Key).

The company and the product got a lot of attention of the  people from the silicon valley. The Chief Medical Officer of the company is the husband of Madhuri Dixit, Dr Shriram Nene. The actress still remains with the company.

She made her debut as an angel investor by investing a whopping sum of Rupees 5 million. Her mother accompanied her. She made the investment in a startup named Ambee. Ambee is a  startup that monitors air quality with data from the 100 sensors all over Bengaluru.

Epigamia, launched way back in 2015 by Rohan Mirchandani, Uday Thakker, Chef Ganesh Krishnamoorthy and Rahul Jain. The company started as a greek yogurt brand . Later,expanded its portfolio to include artisan curd, snack pack.

The co founder of the company , said that the company's ambition was to increase its’s consumer base . The company aimed towards building a distribution to 50,000 stores in the coming years.

He said that the company believed in their association with the Bollywood actress . It would go on a very long way to make the people across the country aware of the brand and its product line. They also believed that Deepika was a perfect fit to the ideology of the brand.

The name of her beauty lineup is Kay Beauty. It deals  in cosmetic products priced in the range of INR 249 to INR 799. They are available all across Nykaa’s offline and online platform. The brand entered the cosmetics market with a forty-eight piece collection of eye and lip products.

The brand has three categories : Kolor, Kover and Kare. Kolor represents the color cosmetics with both eyes and lips . Kover associated with nails and Kare with face products along with nourishing ingredients.

The actress was seen on the launch. She made her part of the comment over the product that she used all her knowledge which she gained in her entire career to make these products possible. She hoped that her brand associated with Nykaa would be able to give the tools to explore the creativity and to celebrate one’s own idea of beauty.
