All of us in leisure time have some or the other activity, and these days the most common thing that each one of us is doing is to binge-watch. And the most popular series that we come across is Game of Thrones. Loved by people all around the world, this American Fantasy Drama show gripped people and caught their attention to a great extent. So today we are going to discuss the index of Game of Thrones.

This series was based on the book of Game of Thrones by George R. Martin (1). This series revolves around the struggle of influential families of Westeros for the control of seven kingdoms. While the prominent families are fighting for the control over kingdoms, the army of dead rises again to take control over the kingdoms. Thus these eight seasons revolve around this, and the person to take over Iron Throne will be won. This series indeed was a unique idea and took over the awe of people.

Index of Game of Thrones Season 1

Discussion the Index of Game of Thrones Season 1, it consisted of ten episodes which initiated the story and developed the interest of people towards this series. 

Episode 1: Winter is Coming

The first episode brings an overview of all the things happening around the kingdom and introduces people with the main characters. Lord Eddard, head of the Stark family, was chosen as the Hand of the King by King Robert after King Arryn died. Ranger Will warns Ned about white walkers, which is neglected by him and later beheads Will. The topic of engagement of Sansa and Joffery Lannister is bought up and the widow of Arryn, Lysa, who receives the message that Lannisters might kill her husband. At the same time, Jamie and Cersei are having sex, which was seen by Bran, and he is thrown out of the window to keep their relationship a secret. Daenerys marriages to Khal Drogo and reclaims his father’s throne to get three dragon eggs as a marriage gift. 

 

Episode 2: The Kingsroad

Eddard Stark leaves with his daughters to be the Head of King, and Jon goes to Night’s watch to be a ranger and is joined by Tyrion. Meanwhile, Darney, with her husband, starts off a new life of Vaes Dothrak. At the same time, Arya’s wolf bites Joffrey and King Robert orders to kill the wolf, but by mistake, Lady Sansa’s wolf is killed by Ned. Catelyn finds out the evidence that proves Lannister’s tried to kill Bran, her son. 

 

Episode 3: Lord Snow

Bran finally wakes up from Coma, although he is not able to walk again. Jon begins to get his training at the wall & becomes friends with Tyrion, and Arya demands to learn swordsmanship from Syrio Forel after demanding this from her father. Meanwhile, Daenerys gets pregnant. 

 

Episode 4: Cripples, Bastard & Broken Things

On the King’s Landing, Eddard investigates the death of Arryn and comes to know about some strange things regarding his death. Catelyn arrests Tryion as she thinks that he attacked Bran, and Jon is busy protecting Tarley from the other rangers on the wall. Daenerys fights with his brother, who wants to control Drogo’s army to win the seven kingdoms. 

 

Episode 5: The Wolf and the Lion

Lysa is going to pass the judgment on Tyrion, and Catelyn visits her. Varys reveals that Ned might kill Arryn through poison while Arya warns her father about some plotting by Varys and Illio. Daenerys’ pregnancy is revealed, and she is ordered to be assassinated with her unborn child while Ned resigns from his post as he disagrees with King Robert’s decision. Bran learns Dothraki Art from Master Luwin.

 

Episode 6: A Golden Crown

Tyrion gets his freedom as he challenges for trial combat with Lysa and Bronn fights from his side. King Robert asks Ned if both Lannisters and Starks to rule the seven kingdoms. Meanwhile, Ned comes to know that Joffery is not the real son of Robert, and Viserys is jealous of the popularity of her sisters among Khals and demands Drogo to give him a golden crown, and he dies. 

 

Episode 7: You Win, or You Die

Jamie Lannister attacks the Tully house and believes that if Lannisters attack Starks, they will be able to rule the Seven Kingdoms. Ser Jorah protects Daenerys and Drogo decides to raise an army against King Robert for his unborn child. Eventually, Robert dies, and his brother claims the crown. Cersei makes Joffery the King and has to arrest Ned. 

 

Episode 8: The Pointy End

Ned is arrested, and his son raises an army against the Lannisters. Sansa asks for mercy to Joffery while Arya runs away from King’s house after killing a man. Drogo’s army attacks a village to fund their ship, and Khal Drogo is severely injured. 

 

Episode 9: Baelor

Joffery beheads Ned as he takes the blame of treason to save his daughter’s life. Catelyn negotiates with Lord Walder to help her son fight against Lannisters while Yoren takes away Arya. Daenerys tries to save Drogo with the help of Mirri’s Black magic but goes into premature labor. 

 

Episode 10: Fire & Blood

Sansa is taken as a hostage while Arya flies away. Jon, with Tarley, steps out of the wall to find Benjen Stark. Daenerys lost her child due to Mirri’s black magic, and Drogo survives with a catatonic state, and his army starts leaving him. Daenerys kills Drogo as mercy and lit pyre & steps herself with Drogos eggs. Surprisingly, she is saved and gives birth to 3 dragons. 

 

Inder of Games of Throne Season 2

Discussing the Index of Game of Thrones Season 2, Joffery becomes a cruel king while Robb heads to South to avenge his father’s death. Robb asks Cersei to return both of his sisters for freedom of Jaime Lannister, and then Cersei hunts for Arya to retrieve her lover. Theon asks for a naval force for their island while Robert’s search for the bastard continues. Caster handovers his baby to nightwalkers, which is witnessed by Jon. Melisandre seduces Stannis and promises to give him baby if he gives himself to Lord of Light. Theon’s request for the Naval force is ultimately rejected as Robb wants to be the North’s king. After Craster’s sacrifice, he demands rangers to leave his place. Catelyn asks for Renly Baratheon’s army in the fight and meets his wife, Margaery & Brienne of Tarth. Meanwhile, Balon attacks North, and Theon chooses to serve his father between him or the starks. Arya rescued some prisoners, and soldiers killed Lommy instead of Gendry. 

Daenerys, with her army, gets shelter in the City of Qarth. Arya with Gandry and Hot Pie arrives at Harrenhal while Melisandre gives birth to a horrific shadow figure in the forest. The shadow figure kills Renly, and Catelyn escapes with Brienne, who decides to avenge Renly’s death and offers loyalty to Catelyn. Jon chooses to join Ranger Qhorin Halfhand’s army to eliminate Nightwalkers. Jaqen H’ghar gives Arya with three lives to save him, but in turn, Arya wants him to kill Tickler first, which is obeyed by him.  

Theon takes Winterfell and executes Ser Rodrik’s, and Roose Bolton sends his bastard son to teach Theon a lesson. Daenerys dragons get missed in Qarth, and Arya demands for a second life. 

Sansa’s periods start, and she is ready to bear Joffery’s child. Jaime escapes from Robb’s prison and meets Catelyn. Daenerys gets back her dragons and flies with Jorah while Theon fakes the execution of Bran & Rickon. 

A strategy is made by Tyrion and Bronn to defeat Stannis and Robb confesses his feelings for Talisa. Jon meets Lord of Bones, and Jaime is escorted to King’s Landing by Brienne for the trade of Stark’s daughter. Meanwhile, Arya manages to escape from Harrenhal. The battle between Baratheons and Lannisters begin with Davos leading Stannis’ fleet in Blackwater bay. Cersei decides to poison herself and her child if they would lose, and Joffery leaves the battle in between. Tywin’s army defeats Stannis’s army.

Baelish gets Harrenhal as an award, and Tywin becomes a new hand of the king. Margery marries Joffery while Robb married Talisa and denied to marry Walder Fredy’s daughter. Jaqen gives Arya a coin and shows her his face-changing ability.

 

Index of Game of Thrones Season 3

Discussing the Index of Game of Thrones Season 3, this season grips audience with betrayal, Revenge, and Victory, and characters have a passion for taking over the kingdom. 

Meanwhile, Robb decides to marry Walder Frey’s daughter but is killed along with Catelyn by Roose Bolton and his army after the feast. This mainly was planned by Tywin, who offered Walder Frey with Riverrun as a reward, although this is witnessed by Arya, who immediately runs away for her safety. Sansa is married to Tywin while Cersei to Loras, at the same time, Margery decides to marry Joffery. Melisandre used Gendry’s blood for her magic and Stannis demands for the lives of Robb, Joffery, and Balon. 

 

Index of Game of Thrones Season 4

Discussing the Index of Game of Thrones Season 4, Daenerys conquers cities with her dragons while Jon and Ygritte join back to the wall. Sam meets Bran and provides him with a dragon glass for his safety. Theon is held as a captive by Ramsay Snow, and Yara decides to rescue him back. Lannisters are more powerful now after killing and defeating Baratheons, Northern Army, and Stark’s family. Queen Daenerys has become more potent after three grown dragons and 8000 armies. House Lannister decides to make House Tyrell their allies through Joffery and Margery’s marriage, although Olena poisons Joffery, which resulted in his death. Cersei believes that Sansa and Tyrion are behind Joffery’s murder; thereby, Sansa escapes while Tyrion is arrested for treason. Although Jaime feels that Tyrion is innocent and thus releases him. 

The Army of Dead comes back and tries to protect themselves, and Arya leaves the Hound injured and tried to find Jaqen in Bravos. 

 

Index of Game of Thrones Season 5

Discussing the Index of Game of Thrones Season 5, Cersei buried her father and came to worry about her daughter Marcella who is in Drone due to murder of Oberyn. Jaime is ordered to bring Marcella back, and at the same time, Cersei is jealous of Margery as she wants to marry Tommen. Jaime takes Marcella and his finance back, and he thinks to confess that he is Marcella’s birth father, but Marcella died due to a poisonous kiss by Ellaria. Both Tyrion and Varys meet Queen after they arrive Essos. 

While the Queen plans to marry Hizdahr zo Loraq, she is attacked but is rescued by Jorah and is later captured by Dothraki Army. Arya starts her training at the Houses of Black and White and serves punishment due to violation of rules through a faceless man. Sansa reaches Winterfell and gets married to Ramsay Snow, and Theon escapes from torture and runs away. Jon kills the dead walker and opens the gate of the castle for wildings. Eventually, he is killed due to jealousy of his mates, and he was going to become Lord of Commander. Sam leaves for oldtown to be a Master. 

 

Index of Game of Thrones Season 6

Discussing the Index of Game of Thrones Season 6, to the audience’s surprise, Jon is brought back to life by Mellisandre’s magic and takes back the Winterfell to himself. Jon and Sansa finally meet while Ramsay dies. Cersei wants to become the Queen and uses wildfire to kill Margery, Loras, Pycell, High Sparrow & Lancel Lannister. Daenerys lit Dotharki Lords and survive the fire and returns to Meeran with her Dragons and kills the masters of Meeran with Jorah and Tyrion. Meanwhile, Arya gets her vision back, and Bran learns that the children of the forest created the White Walkers, and thus he becomes the three-eyed raven. Bran receives the power to change the future by changing the past and gets a vision that confirms Jon is the son of Lyanna Stark, which makes Daenerys his aunt.
